Calder Parish Church

Calder Parish Church

Calder Parish Church was the successful union between Garturk Parish Church and Whifflet Parish Church. The union took place on 7th September 1978. Calder Parish Church was formally Garturk Parish Church built in 1870 of gothic design.

Our membership of approximately 500 represents a wide cross-section of the community and we encourage and warmly welcome young people and their families to join the Church.

Our house bound members are regularly visited by our Pastoral Care Group.

Sunday morning Crèche facilities are provided to enable parents of young children to attend church regularly.

We are a friendly congregation and a warm welcome awaits you.

If you live in the Parish we have a constitutional obligation to invite you to join our Church, but even if you reside out with the Parish boundaries we would invite you to come along to our services, and share in our worship and experience the warmth of Christian Fellowship
